As a Security Architect, you will work closely with enterprise, infrastructure and solution architects to influence key security decisions. You play a critical role in translating business needs into secure, scalable and well-documented architectural solutions.

What you’ll do

• You design, document and maintain security architectures in line with Luminus’s policies and compliance requirements (e.g., NIS 2).
• You analyze exisiting systems and architectures, identify vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• You integrate security requirements into both Agile and Waterfall development environements.
• You define and document reference architectures to enable reusable and scalable security components.
• You select and apply appropriate security technologies, incuding IAM solutions, infrastrucuture protections and encryption tools.
• You lead architecture governance processes and contribute to continious optimization.
• You define and prioritize system restoration plans to ensure business continuity.

What you bring

• You hold a master’s degree in a STEM field or bring equivalent hands-on experience.
• You have at least four years of experience in IT architecture, with strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture.
• You are proficient in documenting and communicating complex technical concepts (Visio, Confluence, BPMN, Jira)
• You are skilled in infrastructure, OS, databases, authentication system and development languages.
• You are confident and persuasive in defending security requirements in governance discussions.
• Relevant certifications are a big plus.
• You have working knowledge of architecture methodologies such as ISSAP, SABSA, TOGAF or CISSP.
• You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French.

Shaping the future of cloud at Luminus – with you at the heart 

As a Cloud Azure Architect, you will design and grow our Azure cloud environment into a robust, scalable, and secure platform. You’ll bring structure, clarity, and fresh ideas — while collaborating with colleagues across IT to ensure our cloud supports business continuity, efficiency, and innovation. Your role is not about ticking every box on day one, but about bringing the mindset, adaptability, and communication skills to evolve with us and make a real impact. 

What you’ll do 

• Work with enterprise and technical infrastructure teams to define and refine our Azure cloud strategy. 
• Design resilient, cost-effective cloud and hybrid solutions using the right mix of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. 
• Regularly review existing architectures and suggest improvements to enhance performance, security, and cost optimization. 
• Act as a technical reference point for Azure topics, representing Luminus in discussions with EDF Group and external partners. 
• Ensure business continuity for critical applications, even after disruptive incidents. 
• Present and explain your solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences — clarity and influence matter here. 

What you bring 

• One year of hands-on experience with Azure cloud in a professional environment (experience in AWS is also welcome), plus a solid IT infrastructure background (networking, systems, or similar). 
• Azure or AWS certification is a plus, but your willingness to grow and learn counts even more. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills — you can structure ideas and get your point across with impact. 
• A collaborative, open mindset — you share knowledge, support your team, and welcome feedback. 
• Curiosity and adaptability — you’re eager to learn, whether it’s AWS tomorrow or new Azure services next month. 
• You are fluent in English and speak either Dutch or French at a professional level.
