Senior Cloud Azure Architect

IT Service Management and Integration (SMI) plays a essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by delivering essential, business-critical services. These include managing core infrastructure (Data Centers, Networks and Cloud platforms) overseeing Security Operations and facilitating key processes such as Incident Management, Service Requests, Disaster Recovery and Identity & Access Management.

 

To enhance our Azure platform and empower application teams, SMI is appointing a Senior Azure Cloud Architect to define and drive Luminus IT's Azure cloud strategy. Your Daily Job

 

  • You are the technical point of reference for all Azure infrastructure topics, serving as the go-to expert within Luminus IT and acting as a key liaison with the EDF Group. You’ll advocate best practices aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework, FinOps principles, business continuity and security.
  • You define the Azure cloud infrastructure strategy, aligning it with the company’s multi-year IT and business roadmap.
  • You design innovative, cost-effective cloud and hybrid solutions that meet the needs of delivery teams. You’ll select the most suitable services -whether IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS- to reduce costs and minimize security risks.
  • You lead optimization efforts by reviewing existing Azure architecture and recommending improvements, especially as new Azure services and capabilities become available.
  • You take the lead in decision-making as a key member of the Infrastructure Architecture Board and the Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB), shaping strategies that impact the entire organization.

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • You have a relevant bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field.
  • You bring a Azure Cloud Certification, such as Azure Developer, Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator or similar qualification.
  • You are business proficient (B2+) in English and speak either Dutch or French.
  • You have at least 5 to 7 years of experience as an Azure Solutions Architect, with practical experience in DevOps or .NET application development being an advantage.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with another public cloud platform, such as AWS, is a plus.

Business Process Management 

  • Lead the E2E Process Mapping, using LEAN practices to improve efficiency.

Grâce à cette centrale ultramoderne, alliée des énergies renouvelables, Luminus poursuit la transition énergétique et contribue à assurer la sécurité d'approvisionnement de la Belgique.

 

35 personnes seront responsables de la maintenance et de l'exploitation de la centrale à cycle combiné Seraing 2.0., l’une des plus puissantes (870 MW) et des plus efficaces (rendement de 63%) d'Europe !

 

L’ingénieur industirel participe à l’exploitation (sous un régime de travail en service continu-shift)  de la nouvelle centrale de Seraing conformément au programme de production au meilleur coût et en fixant les priorités d’intervention pour obtenir l’optimum technico-économique de l’installation dans le respect de la sécurité du personnel, de l'environnement et des installations (y compris la cybersécurité)

 

Votre quotidien

Votre rôle dans la nouvelle centrale se développera en deux temps

1. Phase de mise en service :

  • Vous participez aux tests et à la mise en service des différents circuits de la nouvelle centrale tout en identifiant de manière proactive les points à corriger et contribuez à leur résolution avec les différentes équipes afin de clôturer au mieux le projet.
  • Vous vous formez et vous vous familiarisez avec le fonctionnement de la centrale.
  • Vous contribuez à établir et parfaire les instructions d’exploitation et de conduite.

2. Phase d'exploitation :

  • Sous la supervision du Chef de Conduite, vous êtes en charge de la conduite de la nouvelle centrale et veillez à son bon fonctionnement dans un régime de prestations organisées en mode « service continu - système shift ».
  • Vous contribuez à la mise à l'arrêt et la consignation des équipements en vue de la réalisation d'opérations de maintenance
  • Vous suivez les performances de l'installation et réalisez les analyses de causes des écarts de performance et des incidents ainsi que les analyses de risques et développez des solutions d’amélioration
  • Vous participez à la gestion des situations de crise, proposez des décisions adéquates sur base des plans internes d'urgence et suivez les instructions du Chef de Conduite
  • Vous participez aux projets d’amélioration continue et amendez les procédures d’exploitation afin d’optimiser les opérations, les ressources et performances de la centrale.
  • Vous veillez au respect des exigences environnementales et régulatoires édictées par les autorités et Elia (permis d’exploitation, normes et contrats, …) Vous réalisez le rapportage des opérations et événements de conduite.
  • Vous participez à la sécurisation du site en dehors des heures normales (présences, alarmes, intrusion, …). 
  • Vous poursuivez votre apprentissage et suggérez des pistes d’amélioration continue.

 

Votre profil

  • Vous avez un Bachelor ou Master à orientation technique (Ingénieur.e Civil ou Industriel) ou vous pouvez démontrer une expérience équivalente
  • Vous pouvez démontrer une expertise et spécialisation dans un secteur technique (électricité, mécanique, automatisme, etc.)
  • Vous être capable d’analyser et superviser les process industriels (système de supervision, lecture et analyse de plans, schémas et notices techniques, exploitation de big data, etc.) et souhaitez continuellement apprendre.

2. Phase d'exploitation :

  • Sous la supervision du Chef de Conduite, vous êtes en charge de la conduite de la nouvelle centrale et veillez à son bon fonctionnement dans un régime de prestations organisées en mode « service continu - système shift ».
  • Vous contribuez à la mise à l'arrêt et la consignation des équipements en vue de la réalisation d'opérations de maintenance
  • Vous suivez les performances de l'installation et réalisez les analyses de causes des écarts de performance et des incidents ainsi que les analyses de risques et développez des solutions d’amélioration
  • Vous participez à la gestion des situations de crise, proposez des décisions adéquates sur base des plans internes d'urgence et suivez les instructions du Chef de Conduite
  • Vous participez aux projets d’amélioration continue et amendez les procédures d’exploitation afin d’optimiser les opérations, les ressources et performances de la centrale.
  • Vous veillez au respect des exigences environnementales et régulatoires édictées par les autorités et Elia (permis d’exploitation, normes et contrats, …) Vous réalisez le rapportage des opérations et événements de conduite.
  • Vous participez à la sécurisation du site en dehors des heures normales (présences, alarmes, intrusion, …). 
  • Vous poursuivez votre apprentissage et suggérez des pistes d’amélioration continue.

 

Votre profil

  • Vous avez un Bachelor ou Master à orientation technique (Ingénieur.e Civil ou Industriel) ou vous pouvez démontrer une expérience équivalente
  • Vous pouvez démontrer une expertise et spécialisation dans un secteur technique (électricité, mécanique, automatisme, etc.)
  • Vous être capable d’analyser et superviser les process industriels (système de supervision, lecture et analyse de plans, schémas et notices techniques, exploitation de big data, etc.) et souhaitez continuellement apprendre.
  • Vous avez une bonne connaissance des procédures et instructions en : conduitegestion d’intervention (permis, analyse de risques) et mise en sécurité des installations (consignations).
  • Vous veillez à ce que la sécurité des personnesdes équipements et des bâtiments soient assurées.
  • Vous êtes capable de répondre au changement, à de nouvelles priorités tout en proposant des solutions pertinentes aux différents contextes et situations critiques.
  • Vous avez un esprit d’équipe fort en cherchant collectivement le meilleur résultat.
  • Vous avez de bonnes connaissances en informatiques (data management,etc…).

Engineering & Technicians

Luminus construit actuellement une nouvelle centrale électrique sur son site de Seraing. Celle-ci sera pleinement opérationnelle en 2025. Grâce à cette centrale ultramoderne, alliée des énergies renouvelables, Luminus poursuit la transition énergétique et contribue à assurer la sécurité d'approvisionnement de la Belgique.

 

35 personnes seront responsables de la maintenance et de l'exploitation de la centrale à cycle combiné Seraing 2.0., l’une des plus puissantes (870 MW) et des plus efficaces (rendement de 63%) d'Europe !

 

L’ingénieur de conduite participe à l’exploitation (sous un régime de travail en service continu-shift)  de la nouvelle centrale de Seraing conformément au programme de production au meilleur coût et en fixant les priorités d’intervention pour obtenir l’optimum technico-économique de l’installation dans le respect de la sécurité du personnel, de l'environnement et des installations (y compris la cybersécurité)

 

Votre quotidien

Votre rôle dans la nouvelle centrale se développera en deux temps

1. Phase de mise en service :

  • Vous participez aux tests et à la mise en service des différents circuits de la nouvelle centrale tout en identifiant de manière proactive les points à corriger et contribuez à leur résolution avec les différentes équipes afin de clôturer au mieux le projet.
