Offshore PPA Manager

The Optimization department at Luminus focuses on enhancing the company's market position and operational efficiency through strategic planning, risk management, and effective market activities. By integrating market insights with advanced analytical tools, the team supports investment decisions, optimizes asset portfolios and manages detailed contractual agreements. 

As Offshore PPA Manager, you are responsible for managing the offtake of offshore wind energy within the Princess Elisabeth Zone. You will lead complex contract structuring and negotiation efforts, align with offshore tender rules, and balance long-term commercial risks and opportunities. Your work will be central to how Luminus commercializes offshore wind energy and supports Belgium's climate goals.

 

What you'll do

 

  • You will shape and implement offtake strategies for offshore wind projects, ensuring they align with Belgian offshore wind tender requirements and evolving market conditions.
  • You keep these strategies agile and responsive by closely following regulatory developments, partner needs, and market dynamics.
  • You work on creating and fine-tuning models for PPAs and CPPAs that reflect sound pricing logic, strategic value, and commercial requirements.
  • You take the lead in guiding PPA negotiations with both Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and industrial customers, helping to secure long-term, balanced agreements.
  • You contribute to embedding these PPAs into the broader optimization framework, with a focus on operational follow-up and performance monitoring.
  • You assess risks such as market volatility, balancing costs, and price cannibalization, and you translate your findings into pricing strategies that ensure resilience and value.
  • You collaborate closely with stakeholders to structure SPVPA contracts and link them with CPPA opportunities, helping build an aligned and sustainable energy value chain.

 

 

What you bring

 

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Economics, Commercial Sciences or a related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong grasp of electricity and gas market mechanisms.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical thinking and can explain complex pricing and contract structures in a clear way.
  • You are familiar with the Belgian offshore wind sector or eager to quickly immerse yourself in it.
  • You can confidently work in Excel and use it as a structured tool for thinking and modeling (VBA or BI tools are not required).
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. French is a welcome bonus.
  • You work autonomously, take initiative, and enjoy solving complex, multi-stakeholder problems.

As a Security Architect, you will work closely with enterprise, infrastructure and solution architects to influence key security decisions. You play a critical role in translating business needs into secure, scalable and well-documented architectural solutions.

 

 

What you’ll do 

  • You design, document and maintain security architectures in line with Luminus’s policies and compliance requirements (e.g., NIS 2).
  • You analyze exisiting systems and architectures, identify vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • You integrate security requirements into both Agile and Waterfall development environements.
  • You define and document reference architectures to enable reusable and scalable security components.
  • You select and apply appropriate security technologies, incuding IAM solutions, infrastrucuture protections and encryption tools.
  • You lead architecture governance processes and contribute to continious optimization.
  • You define and prioritize system restoration plans to ensure business continuity.

 

 

What you bring 

  • You hold a master’s degree in a STEM field or bring equivalent hands-on experience.
  • You have at least four years of experience in IT architecture, with strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture.
  • You are proficient in documenting and communicating complex technical concepts (Visio, Confluence, BPMN, Jira)
  • You are skilled in infrastructure, OS, databases, authentication system and development languages.
  • You are confident and persuasive in defending security requirements in governance discussions.
  • Relevant certifications are a big plus.

As a Security Operations Analyst, you’ll take the lead in detecting, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats. You'll manage security vulnerabilities using tools like Tenable, support simulation-based awareness campaigns, and refine incident response processes. Your work will not only protect our infrastructure—it will strengthen our broader security culture and ensure that colleagues and external stakeholders alike can rely on a safe IT environment.

  

What you'll do

 

  • You will monitor and respond to security events, alerts and incidents. 
  • With Tenable, RAPID7 or Qualys, you’ll perform vulnerability assessments, interpret findings, and coordinate with IT teams for remediation.
  • Phishing simulations, awareness platforms, video trainings—you’ll ensure they are rolled out effectively and that employees engage with them.
  • Enhancing endpoint protection, securing privileged access, and applying secure coding practices will be part of your daily toolkit.
  • In collaboration with colleagues and vendors, you’ll update and refine procedures to keep Luminus ahead of cyber threats.

  • With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you act decisively when security issues arise.

As a Market Design Analyst, you navigate the complexities of the energy market and shape its future. You are responsible for monitoring market design and regulatory frameworks, supporting Luminus in adapting to a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

 

 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • You follow market design evolutions and regulatory frameworks, focusing on European market integration, ancillary services, balancing mechanisms, offshore integration, CRM and CCMD.
  • Evaluating their impact on Luminus, you analyse regulatory changes and contracts with the TSO/DSO.
  • You participate in TSO/DSO workshops, preparing proposals, responses and positions in collaboration with Corporate Affairs and other teams.
  • You organize and lead transversal working groups to discuss TSO/DSO market design and Capacity Remuneration Mechanisms.

En tant que Secrétaire Technique au sein du service d’exploitation, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans l'administration technique des centrales électriques thermiques à cycles ouverts et hydros. Vous ferez partie d’une équipe pluridisciplinaire gérée par le responsable d’exploitation, où votre contribution sera cruciale pour assurer l'efficacité et la gestion des tâches administratives. 

 

 

Qu'allez-vous faire ?

 

  • Vous exécutez diverses tâches de secrétariat, telles que le tri du courrier interne/externe, la préparation des notes de service et des dossiers, l'organisation d'événements et des courses ponctuelles.
  • Vous gérez la disponibilité des parkings VE et autres.
  • Vous gérez les accès, y compris les clés, badges et autres identifiants.
  • Vous accueillez les contractants et fournisseurs externes en utilisant Onyx One.
  • Vous mettez à jour les fichiers de roulements, les vêtements de travail et les documents BA4/5.

Qu'apportez-vous ?

Wat is jouw impact?

 

Jij bent het gezicht van Luminus op het terrein. Jij waakt over de prestaties en veiligheid van onze windparken. Je organiseert inspecties en onderhoudswerken, houdt de technische werking nauw in het oog en zorgt dat alles draait zoals het hoort – van oplevering tot dagelijkse werking.

 

Je dagelijkse werk

 

  • Je maakt deel uit van een team van supervisors en werkt in regio Antwerpen/Kempen - Limburg:
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de technische opvolging van meerdere windparken.
  • Je wordt (in overleg) expert in een specifiek technisch domein, zoals hoogspanning, elektronica of turbinecomponenten.
  • Je neemt deel aan de dagelijkse monitoring van de installaties via het systeem Bazefield.
  • Je organiseert en begeleidt onderhoudswerken, steeds met aandacht voor veiligheid en milieuregels (HSE).
  • Je stelt verbetervoorstellen (retrofits) op waar nodig.
  • Je rapporteert aan de Asset-coördinator en signaleert belangrijke technische issues.

At Luminus, our Production Department guarantees the continuity of the energy supply by maximising the conversion of wind and water power into electricity while ensuring the flexibility of our thermal power stations to compensate for periods of low renewable production. As a Wind Engineer, you will support the operation of the largest on-shore wind turbine and BESS fleet in Belgium. You will help coordinate on-site activities and gather data from the wind fleet to work on preventive and predictive maintenance, informing Asset Managers on the health of their assets.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Organize preventive and predictive maintenance, you manage site interventions and evaluate performance issues to maintain high turbine availability. You will align multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external providers to ensure timely, high-quality interventions and smooth operations.
  • Additionally, you will keep SCADA and monitoring systems reliable and effective. You gather and interpret complex data from CMS, oil samples and inspections. By synthesizing this technical data, you provide clear asset health assessments and support strategic decisions with accurate, data-driven insights.
  • You will continuously improve processes based on field feedback and shared EDF Group knowledge. Participate actively in synergies with the EDF Group to optimize resource use and share knowledge. Building agendas for regular meetings with different maintenance service providers, you ensure maximum availability of the wind turbine fleet.
  • Reporting the status of the wind fleet and gathering data for predictive maintenance, you use tools like CMS, oil samples, particle counters and gearbox endoscopies. You translate this data into actionable insights for asset health and strategy.
  • You have a close and clear follow-up of the technical status of the assets. Support on-site interventions with your knowledge of SCADA Architecture and Communication Network & Protocol, and provide technical solutions as small projects.
  • Providing support depending on the technical needs of the fleet, you ensure that all interventions and maintenance activities are optimized for the best performance and availability of the wind turbine fleet. 

What you’ll bring

 

  • You hold a university degree or equivalent with a technical orientation, such as Civil or Industrial Engineering.
  • You have 2-3 years of experience as an engineer in maintenance, performance, or reliability, preferably in wind, photovoltaic farms, or the energy sector.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and SAP.
  • You are fluent in either Dutch or French (with basic knowledge of the other national language) and master English.

As a Controlling Analyst Downstream, you transform complex data into strategic insights and financial clarity. Your expertise in gross margin analysis, variance reporting, and budget forecasting will be pivotal in guiding the Luminus Group COMEX, Downstream management and EDF Group towards informed decisions and strategic success.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • You lead of the month-end and year-end closing processes: executing key tasks with precision, analyzing variances and delivering clear financial insights that drive decision-making.
  • You co-create budgets and (re-)forecasts with Retail & BTB teams, challenging assumptions to ensure transparency and alignment with both operational goals and the broader ambitions of Luminus Group.
  • As a trusted business partner, you support Retail & BTB and Finance management in interpreting downstream financials and provide deep-dive profitability analyses that influence strategic, value-driven choices.
  • You streamline processes through automation and data optimization, using tools like Power Query to enhance efficiency and accuracy.  You act as SPOC for IT-related improvements in downstream activities.
  • You initiate and manage financial projects that enhance operational effectiveness and financial performance, ensuring alignment with group-wide strategies.
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that fuel business growth, sustainability and a culture of continuous improvement.

 

 

What you bring

 

  • A Master’s degree in Economics, Data & Analytics or you show us you have built up experience equal to this degree.
  • You are proficient in MS Office and have expertise in data analysis, modeling and reporting tools like Power Query and Power BI.
  • You use your strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
  • You have a first experience with SAP and a keen interest in process automation.
  • You possess strong interpersonal, presentation and communication abilities.
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
