As a Medium General Ledger Accountant…

You take charge of complex general ledger activities across one or multiple accounting scopes, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You operate with strong autonomy, managing full-cycle BE GAAP and IFRS accounting while supporting Group reporting, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll do

• You manage daily accounting operations, ensuring correct registrations and complete, timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings.
• You take end-to-end ownership of assigned entities’ accounting under both BE GAAP and IFRS, including complex treatments.
• You prepare and monitor month-end activities, perform account reconciliations, and analyse GL account evolution.
• You set up and follow up IFRS 16 lease accounting in SAP RE-FX, manage payroll accounting (incl. IAS19), and coordinate tax reporting.
• You identify inefficiencies, propose process improvements, and help strengthen internal controls within your scope.
• You coach Junior GL Accountants, share knowledge, and collaborate with business and finance teams on key topics and accounting projects.

What you bring

• You have 4–5 years of experience in GL accounting with strong expertise in BE GAAP and IFRS (incl. IFRS 16 & IAS 19).
• You work fluently with SAP FI/CO and ideally SAP RE-FX, and you handle advanced Excel analyses with ease.
• You combine precision, analytical strength, and a proactive mindset to identify issues and propose solutions.
• You manage deadlines confidently and organize your work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and enjoy guiding colleagues in their development.
• You stay attentive to detail while keeping a helicopter view of end-to-end financial processes.
