Luminus is looking for the next generation of climate changers 

Join our two-year traineeship and make an active contribution to a CO2-neutral energy future and the energy transition. As one of our 10 young graduates, you choose ... your projects to make a difference.  

The traineeship in a nutshell 

  • A 2-year trainee programme starting in September 2026, with 3 completely different 8-month assignments in different departments/teams, allowing you to learn and grow. 

  • Your traineeship will take shape as we align our business challenges with your skills, interests, competencies, and knowledge. Flexibility is key! 

  • Dive into challenges, develop essential skills and build an invaluable network within & outside Luminus. 

  • After two years, you will choose a job that energises you and matches your developed expertise, interests and values.  The Luminus vibe. Can you feel it?  

As a Luminus trainee you don’t have to be an expert in a specific domain. What matters is your energy, your drive and your eagerness to learn! So, are you a positive person, an entrepreneur and a team player? Are you open-minded, curious and is taking care of the environment important to you? Great! It seems like we match!   Do you recognise yourself in this?  

  • I graduated with a master's degree.  

  • I am fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.  

  • I am a starter or don’t have more than 2 years of work experience.  

  • I am a born entrepreneur, and love nothing more than to take the initiative and learn.  

  • I breathe the 3 Luminus corporate values: entrepreneurship, all together and customer first.  

  • I share the green ambitions of Luminus.

Luminus is Looking for Young IT Talent 

Join our two-year ICT traineeship and use your ICT skills to contribute actively to a CO2-neutral (energy) future and the energy transition. Our top IT experts will guide you along the way. 

During this two-year program, you will explore various roles and assignments (product services, development, digital collaboration, IT architecture, cybersecurity, and more). In the process, you will broaden your skillset and create real impact—on yourself, Luminus, and the climate. 

 The traineeship in a nutshell 

  • A 2-year trainee programme starting in September 2026, with 3 completely different 8-month assignments  across different IT teams and disciplines. 

  • Your traineeship will take shape as we align our business challenges with your skills, interests, competencies, and knowledge. Flexibility is key! 

  • You’ll dive deep into AI, machine learning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and more. 

  • After two years, you will choose a job that energises you and matches your developed expertise, interests and values.
