The Optimization department at Luminus focuses on enhancing the company's market position and operational efficiency through strategic planning, risk management, and effective market activities. By integrating market insights with advanced analytical tools, the team supports investment decisions, optimizes asset portfolios and manages detailed contractual agreements.
As Offshore PPA Manager you oversee the offtake of the offshore project in the Princess Elisabeth Zone. You focus on negotiating and finalizing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the project company, aligning with offshore tender rules and balancing risks and rewards.
What you'll do
- Developing offtake strategies for offshore projects, you ensure they align with Belgian Offshore wind tender rules.
- You keep strategies up-to-date with market dynamics, regulations and project-specific requirements.
- You create Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) models that align to offtake strategies and tender rules.
- Leading negotiations, drafting and finalizing PPA contracts, you ensure compliance and commercial alignment.
- You integrate Power Purchase Agreements into the optimization framework, manage operations and monitor performance.
- By analyzing market risks and opportunities, you enhance financial outcomes.
What you bring
- You have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Commercial Sciences, Economics, or an equivalent field.
- With at least 3 years of experience in the energy sector, you’re no stranger to the field.
- You’re genuinely curious about how electricity and gas markets tick and you’re up to speed on the support mechanisms that drive them.
- Know a thing or two about the Belgian offshore scene? That’s a big plus.
- Excel is second nature to you.
- You speak Dutch and English fluently and if you also know French, even better!
