Ready to drive the future of renewable energy and optimize the performance of our on-shore wind turbine fleet?

At Luminus, our Production Department guarantees the continuity of the energy supply by maximising the conversion of wind and water power into electricity while ensuring the flexibility of our thermal power stations to compensate for periods of low renewable production. Safety and respect for the environment guide all our actions.

As a Wind Engineer, you will support the operation of the largest on-shore wind turbine and BESS fleet in Belgium. You will help coordinate on-site activities and gather data from the wind fleet to work on preventive and predictive maintenance, informing Asset Managers on the health of their assets.

What you’ll do

  • Organize preventive and predictive maintenance, you manage site interventions and evaluate performance issues to maintain high turbine availability. You will align multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external providers to ensure timely, high-quality interventions and smooth operations.
  • Additionally, you will keep SCADA and monitoring systems reliable and effective. You gather and interpret complex data from CMS, oil samples and inspections. By synthesizing this technical data, you provide clear asset health assessments and support strategic decisions with accurate, data-driven insights.
  • You will continuously improve processes based on field feedback and shared EDF Group knowledge. Participate actively in synergies with the EDF Group to optimize resource use and share knowledge. Building agendas for regular meetings with different maintenance service providers, you ensure maximum availability of the wind turbine fleet.
  • Reporting the status of the wind fleet and gathering data for predictive maintenance, you use tools like CMS, oil samples, particle counters and gearbox endoscopies. You translate this data into actionable insights for asset health and strategy.
  • You have a close and clear follow-up of the technical status of the assets. Support on-site interventions with your knowledge of SCADA Architecture and Communication Network & Protocol, and provide technical solutions as small projects.
  • Providing support depending on the technical needs of the fleet, you ensure that all interventions and maintenance activities are optimized for the best performance and availability of the wind turbine fleet.

What you’ll bring
