Your Daily Job

Your Profile

 

 

  • Master’s degree in management, education or an equivalent field.

Senior Wind Project Developer

Luminus kan zich met een geïnstalleerd vermogen van 725 MW de nummer 1 binnen de Belgische sector van windenergie noemen. Sinds december 2023 exploiteren we 279 windturbines. Deze produceren genoeg groene energie voor 400.000 gezinnen.We hebben een duidelijk doel vooropgesteld: tegen 2027 willen we ons windturbinepark uitbreiden tot een capaciteit van meer dan 1000 MW. Alleen op die manier kunnen we blijvend zorg dragen voor het milieu én kunnen we de Kyoto-akkoorden naleven en de doelstellingen van de Europese Unie halen. Net daarom investeren we ook steevast in technologische vooruitgang op het vlak van windenergie.

Als Senior Wind Project Developer neem jij de verantwoordelijkheid over het ontwikkelen van nieuwe windturbineparken. Je volgt hiervoor het volledige proces op, vanaf de prospectiefase tot de uitvoerings- of constructiefase. Je rapporteert op regelmatige basis naar je team coach en deelt actief jouw kennis binnen het team en daarbuiten.

 

 

Jouw dagelijkse job

 

  • Je verkent en analyseert de opportuniteiten om het windturbinepark van Luminus verder uit te breiden.
  • Je definieert het projectconcept op basis van een interne haalbaarheidsstudie.
  • Je onderhandelt en sluit contracten en offertes af, waarbij je vlot communiceert met alle betrokken stakeholders.
  • Je beheert een portefeuille van windprojecten in verschillende stadia van ontwikkeling. De projecten zijn zeer gevarieerd, gaande van verkennende studies tot diepgaande technische en economische haalbaarheidsstudies, vergezeld van vergunningsaanvragen en complexe juridische dossiers, tot aan de ingebruikname van het windpark.
  • Je coördineert de technische ontwikkeling en zorgt voor een vlekkeloze aansluiting op het elektriciteitsnet, in nauwe samenwerking met de netbeheerder en onze netwerkexpert.
  • Je ondersteunt het team bij het indienen en opvolgen vergunningsaanvragen. Op die manier verkrijg je de noodzakelijke machtigingen en vergunningen.
  • Je bouwt en onderhoudt op met lokale autoriteiten en regelgevende instanties. Door goed contact te onderhouden met partijen zoals het Agentschap voor Natuur en Bos en het Departement Omgeving zorg je ervoor dat projecten voldoen aan de verwachtingen. Met de steun van Corporate Affairs verdedig je jouw projecten bij lokale besturen en ministeriële kabinetten.
  • Je zorgt voor een gedetailleerde business case voor het investeringscomité, in samenwerking met het wind management team. Deze case vormt de basis voor verdere beslissingen van het directiecomité en andere comités binnen de EDF-groep.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met onze interne stakeholders (Productie, HSE, Legal, Purchasing, Optimisation en Corporate Affairs) om een vlot projectverloop te garanderen.
  • Je verzorgt de wekelijkse rapportering van de projectstatus aan de teamcoach en de Head of Wind Development, waarbij je eventuele problemen en hindernissen in kaart brengt en proactief op zoek gaat naar mogelijke oplossingen.
  • Als specialist in je functie deel je jouw kennis met minder ervaren collega’s en sta je hen bij met raad en daad.
  • Je zorgt voor een  soepele overdracht aan het Construction team en Wind Asset Management team die instaan voor voor de bouw en implementatie.

 

 

Jouw profiel

 

  • Je hebt een bachelor diploma in een commerciële of technische richting.
  • Je kunt ervaring aantonen op het gebied van hernieuwbare energie- of andere projectontwikkeling.
  • Je beschikt over minimum 3-5 jaar werkervaring in een gelijkaardige sector.
  • Je hebt een expertise en een uitgesproken passie voor technische milieukwesties in de ontwikkeling windenergie.

Sustainability Project Leader

However, the introduction of the CSRD directive requires Luminus to further formalize its CSR-related policies, with explicit targets, detailed action plans and auditable metrics. Additionally, the governance and organizational structure for sustainability must evolve to align with ESRS standards, particularly ESRS 2, enabling stronger collaboration across Strategy, Risks, HSE, HR and operational departments.

To meet these challenges, we are seeking a Sustainability Project Leader.You will take on the overall responsibility for the CSRD action plan, as well as oversee existing initiatives tied to key sustainability ratings (such as EcoVadis, Voka, and Unitar). You report directly to the Head of Sustainability and you will also collaborate closely with EDF Group experts on topics such as biodiversity, carbon footprint management, climate change adaptation, and circular economy practices.

Regional Senior Wind Asset Manager

Porté par la strategie de croissance de Luminus, le portefeuille éolien totalisait à la fin 2019, environ 520 MW de puissance installée répartie entre une soixantaine de parcs éoliens avec plus de 200 turbines ; l’objectif étant d’atteindre 700 MW en 2022. Pour ce faire, Luminus s’appuie sur l’opération de nouveaux parcs ainsi que sur l’exploitation long-terme des actifs (plusieurs atteindront bientôt la quinzaine d’années). Par conséquent, le profil du portefeuille éolien et l’opération de celui-ci se complexifie.

 

Dans ce contexte, vous jouez un rôle clé en tant que Regional Senior Wind Asset Manager. Vous apportez votre expertise pour encadrer et soutenir les équipes régionales de Wind Asset Managers sous votre responsabilité. Vous assurez une harmonisation des pratiques entre les régions et favorisez des synergies internes solides au sein de l’équipe Wind Asset Management.En véritable facilitateur, vous encouragez une communication fluide et structurée, aussi bien descendante qu’ascendante, et stimulez les échanges cross-fonctionnels, notamment avec les WA Coordinateurs et les WSS.Pour rester connecté au terrain et aux défis opérationnels, vous supervisez également un portefeuille réduit de 3 à 5 parcs éoliens (environ 15 turbines maximum). Vous assurez leur suivi opérationnel tout au long de leur cycle de vie, avec pour objectif d’atteindre les exigences fixées dans la Wind Policy et détaillées dans le SAMP.Votre expertise, votre vision stratégique et votre capacité à fédérer les équipes font de vous un acteur essentiel pour garantir la performance durable du portefeuille éolien de Luminus. 

 

Votre quotidien

 

  • Vous homogénéisez et harmonisez les pratiques entre les équipes régionales, en alignant les actions sur la Wind Policy et les objectifs du SAMP. Vous organisez des réunions régulières, en groupe et en individuel, pour assurer une communication fluide et structurée.
  • Vous gérez directement jusqu'à cinq actifs éoliens, suivez les KPI (kWh, €, maintenance, HSE) et analysez les rapports hebdomadaires et mensuels. Vous traquez les sous-performances et travaillez avec les équipes support pour identifier les causes et mettre en place des solutions.
  • Vous êtes le point de contact clé pour les clients, partenaires et sous-traitants. Vous veillez à la qualité et à la clarté des échanges, en suivant le Plan de Communication et les process établis.
  • Vous supervisez l'intégration des nouveaux parcs éoliens, garantissez la complétude documentaire et veillez à la levée des réserves identifiées sur le terrain.
  • Vous suivez les campagnes de conformité (acoustique, sécurité) et assurez la rédaction des rapports d'incidents et le suivi des plaintes.
  • Vous intervenez lors des réunions avec les O&M providers pour défendre les intérêts de l'entreprise et proposer des stratégies alternatives.
  • Vous identifiez les besoins en formation, stimulez la montée en compétences et insufflez une dynamique positive à vos collaborateurs.

 

Votre profil 

  • Vous êtes titulaire d’une formation universitaire (technique ou économique).

Luminus' growth strategy aims to increase the renewable portfolio to 1500 MW by 2030. This will depend on the operation of new assets as well as the long-term operation of existing assets. This makes the portfolio and its operation more complex over time.In this context, as the AM you will manage a portfolio of assets (about 50 in total), which you monitor mainly during their operational phase, with the goal of meeting the targets defined in the AM Policy and detailed in the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), throughout the asset life cycle.Your main role is to ensure that all the processes described in the SAMP are completed satisfactorily and timely, both in terms of quantity and quality.

 

Your daily job

 

  • You have full accountability for the assets under your care.
  • You are the official point of contact for exchanges with customers, external partners, local authorities and all subcontractors you work with on your assets.
  • As Asset Manager you have wide range of standard tasks. You ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including local authorities, owner-operators, and industrial customers, following established processes and plans. You collaborate with O&M providers to address technical issues, negotiate contracts and improve maintenance reporting. You prepare for bilateral meetings, highlight critical points for resolution, and maintain awareness of field operations to accurately relay technical problems. You conduct on-site inspections, monitor subcontractor performance and oversee fleet operations. Additionally, you ensure accurate asset data management, provide regular updates and utilize SAP as the central communication platform with internal departments.
  • You manage the Handover process of assets under construction that are included in the general Luminus portfolio, especially your own contribution.
  • Your role is to ensure "Legal & environmental compliances, making sure on-site equipment meets permits and laws and that activities like acoustic campaigns are properly conducted. 
  • You keep track of the Green Certificates and Guarantees of Origin assigned to your parks and the amounts of electricity generated in collaboration with the optimization/short forecasting team to ensure the income from your parks is accurate.
  • You monitor and update the power purchase agreements of the assets.
  • You send invoices correctly to industrial customers, especially for local offtakes.
  • You follow the policy, processes, procedures and HSE rules and make sure your team and all partners do the same.
  • Your responsibilities for subcontractors or customers include: responding to safety alerts, addressing complaints received and writing incident reports.
  • You update the Regional Senior AM on a regular basis about any challenges and their possible solutions, discuss new AM trainings, and seek technical/organizational support from the Regional Senior AM for specific issues.
  • You consult the Asset Management interactions table that outlines the actions and boundaries of your role in relation to your peers in the Production department. 

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • You hold a university degree or equivalent with a technical or economic orientation.
  • You have an affinity for technical and economic issues and are convinced of the benefits of renewable energies.
  • You have experience in asset management, ideally in wind energy.
  • You are willing to travel to wind farm sites occasionally.
  • You are familiar with SAP. You possess very good knowledge of MS Office.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of French or Dutch and professional knowledge of English.
  • You are skilled at planning and prioritizing, working with a focus on solutions. You turn guidelines into specific, measurable goals, design clear projects, use appropriate resources and take actions to deal with possible challenges.
  • You focus on customers, both inside and outside the organization, and assist them with making decisions. You prioritize the customer's needs, offering customized service and keeping positive communication.
  • You build trustful relationships with internal and external partners, based on your credibility and expertise.You work for the company and department's outcomes, creating and keeping the company's structure, policies, and objectives.
  • You show respect for other ideas, opinions, and people. You respect the company's strategy, procedures, and structure, and follow written or oral instructions conscientiously.

Your Mission

 

As a Solution Designer, you’ll focus on:

1. Infrastructure Design

  • Designing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
  • Selecting the best infrastructure services (AWS or data centers) to meet technical and business needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, security regulations, and best practices.

2. Collaboration with Teams

  • Partnering with IT delivery teams to understand their requirements.
  • Working with DevOps and security teams to implement robust infrastructure solutions.
  • Supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.

3. Cloud Migration & Modernization

  • Leading migrations of applications to AWS using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Modernizing legacy systems to leverage cloud-native technologies.

4. Operations & Optimization

  • Identifying improvements for AWS and on-premise infrastructures.
  • Guiding operational teams and analyzing costs to improve efficiency.
  • Monitoring systems to enhance performance and scalability.

 

 

Your profile

 

  • Experience: 2+ years in a similar role designing AWS and on-prem solutions.
  • Technical Skills: AWS certification (Solution Architect or DevOps Engineer), experience with GitLab pipelines and Terraform, and knowledge of virtualization tools (e.g., containers, backup, storage).
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Soft Skills: Fast learner, team player, strong communicator.
  • Languages: Proficient in English (Dutch or French is a plus).
