As part of Luminus Asset Management, you will be a key technical leader in the operation of the largest on-shore wind turbine and BESS fleet in Belgium. As a Senior Wind Engineer, you will independently identify opportunities to enhance asset performance, propose and execute improvement projects, and resolve complex operational challenges using your expertise and initiative. You will work autonomously, yet in close alignment with cross-functional teams, to deliver sustainable value, ensuring the long-term reliability and optimization of our renewable energy assets.
Main Tasks
Independently identify and resolve complex technical issues to ensure continuous improvement of the fleet's performance and reliability.
• Develop and lead preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, leveraging advanced tools such as CMS, oil analysis, and SCADA diagnostics.
• Propose, initiate, and implement technical improvement projects, taking full ownership from concept to realization.
• Take the lead in coordinating on-site interventions, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and stakeholder communication.
• Proactively monitor SCADA systems and communication networks, identifying trends and implementing enhancements to maintain optimal remote asset control.
• Act as technical lead for inspection and repair campaigns, including blade integrity, drivetrain components, and electrical systems.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and technical recommendations to Asset Management and senior leadership.
• Foster collaboration with EDF Group and external partners, representing Luminus in expert groups and sharing best practices.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance operational procedures, including HSE practices, based on lessons learned from the field.
Replace the Asset Coordinator in case he is absent: lead the team, organize the planning and coordinate the activities in the field autonomously.

Experience
University degree or equivalent with a technical orientation: Civil or Industrial Engineer (mandatory).
Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability, performance, or maintenance engineering, preferably in wind, BESS, or large-scale renewable energy projects.
Proven ability to lead technical projects independently and drive measurable performance improvements.
Solid experience with SCADA systems, communication protocols, and advanced diagnostic tools.
Fluency in French, with working proficiency in Dutch. Strong command of English is required.
