As a Data Platform Solution Engineer, you play a key role in shaping and scaling our Data & AI Platform. You empower teams across Luminus to build smarter, faster and more reliably by developing robust capabilities and setting the standards that drive innovation.

What you’ll do

• In building impactful use cases, you support data engineers by enabling them with the latest platform capabilities.
• Through reusable features, libraries and blueprints, you accelerate how teams deliver value.
• With your guidance, development standards, guidelines and best practices are clearly defined and adopted.
• By maintaining proof of concepts, sample projects and documentation, you ensure others can build with confidence.
• During the intake of new features, you contribute to shaping proposals and gathering technical requirements.
•  Alongside platform architects and product owners, you help plan and deliver the roadmap that drives our data future.

What you bring

• You hold a master’s degree in computer science or engineering or you’ve built equivalent expertise through minimum 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in IT and data engineering. 
• You bring strong skills in designing software frameworks, developing libraries and managing releases.
• You have hands-on experience in cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS) and ideally Snowflake.
• Experience with Terraform, Python and Pysprak is essential. SQL is nice to have.
• Familiarity with data catalog solution is a plus - specific tools are less important than the conceptual understanding.
• You think pragmatically and apply sharp analytical skills to solve complex challenges.
• You follow agile principles and apply best practices like clean code, CI/CD and peer reviews.
• You collaborate naturally with engineers, data scientists, product owners and business stakeholders.
• You stay curious and continuously explore the latest trends in data, AI and machine learning.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French are a plus.
