As a Digital Solution Architect, you translate complex business needs into smart, scalable and future‑proof digital solutions. You bridge strategy and execution, bringing cutting-edge technologies, MACH principles and modern architectures to life across our digital landscape.

 

What you’ll do
  • You deliver solution models and architectures that fit business requirements and maximise value.
  • You collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand needs, challenge assumptions and propose the most effective, budget‑aligned solutions.
  • You assess change requests and evaluate their impact on our existing architecture.
  • You build and evolve our digital architectural vision and roadmap.
  • You guide technology choices and support development teams in applying standards and best practices.
  • You ensure architectural compliance, clear documentation and alignment with Enterprise Architecture and security guidelines.
 
What you bring
  • You hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in exact sciences (preferably IT) or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 3 years’ experience as a Solution Architect in a digital environment (web & mobile).
  • You understand MACH principles and can design solutions based on microservices, API‑first and cloud‑native SaaS.
  • You are fluent in data, state and sequence diagrams and can communicate architecture clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • You have hands‑on experience with React(Native), NextJS, NestJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and cloud deployments (Azure is a plus).
  • You bring strong analytical, facilitation and influencing skills and enjoy working in Agile/SAFe environments.

Security Architect

Join our team as a Security Architect.

 

At Luminus, our ICT department is dedicated to optimizing energy consumption by focusing on cybersecurity, data intelligence and network infrastructures. Our ultimate goal? Building smarter energy systems that help both our customers and colleagues reduce CO2 emissions and improve energy efficiency. Want to help reach that goal? Read on to find out more about what a Security Architect can bring to that.

 

As a Security Architect, you will work closely with enterprise, infrastructure and solution architects to influence key security decisions. You play a critical role in translating business needs into secure, scalable and well-documented architectural solutions.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • You design, document and maintain security architectures in line with Luminus’s policies and compliance requirements (e.g., NIS 2).
  • You analyze exisiting systems and architectures, identify vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • You integrate security requirements into both Agile and Waterfall development environements.
  • You define and document reference architectures to enable reusable and scalable security components.
  • You select and apply appropriate security technologies, incuding IAM solutions, infrastrucuture protections and encryption tools.
  • You lead architecture governance processes and contribute to continious optimization.
  • You define and prioritize system restoration plans to ensure business continuity.

 

What you bring

  • You hold a master’s degree in a STEM field or bring equivalent hands-on experience.
  • You have at least four years of experience in IT architecture, with strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture.
  • You are proficient in documenting and communicating complex technical concepts (Visio, Confluence, BPMN, Jira)
  • You are skilled in infrastructure, OS, databases, authentication system and development languages.
  • You are confident and persuasive in defending security requirements in governance discussions.
  • Relevant certifications are a big plus.
  • You have working knowledge of architecture methodologies such as ISSAP, SABSA, TOGAF or CISSP.
  • You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French.

As a Data Engineer, you play a key role in bridging data infrastructure and business reporting. You design optimized data models and semantic layers for BI tools like Power BI and Qlik, ensuring stakeholders have fast, reliable, and actionable insights to drive strategic decisions. Your mission goes beyond building pipelines—you enable business value by creating scalable BI-ready datasets that fuel analytics and reporting across Luminus’ optimization activities.

 

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement robust data products and end-to-end pipelines aligned with best practices and architectural guidelines.
  • Build optimized data models and semantic layers for BI tools such as Power BI and Qlik to deliver consistent, high-performance reporting.
  • Ensure scalability and reliability through pipeline automation, monitoring, and proactive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align data solutions with strategic objectives and reporting needs.
  • Empower business users by providing training and coaching to help them become autonomous in managing their reports.
  • Stay ahead of technological trends in data engineering, machine learning, and modern data management practices.

 

What you bring

  • A Master’s degree in STEM, Business Engineering (Data Science specialization), or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, ETL processes, and database management.
  • Hands-on experience with BI development tools (Power BI, Qlik), including semantic layer design and data model optimization.
  • Solid programming skills in Python and SQL, plus practical experience with Apache Spark, DBT, and Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of DataOps practices and data governance principles to ensure quality, compliance, and security.
  • A proactive, customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
