As a Security Architect, you will work closely with enterprise, infrastructure and solution architects to influence key security decisions. You play a critical role in translating business needs into secure, scalable and well-documented architectural solutions.
What you’ll do
- You design, document and maintain security architectures in line with Luminus’s policies and compliance requirements (e.g., NIS 2).
- You analyze exisiting systems and architectures, identify vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- You integrate security requirements into both Agile and Waterfall development environements.
- You define and document reference architectures to enable reusable and scalable security components.
- You select and apply appropriate security technologies, incuding IAM solutions, infrastrucuture protections and encryption tools.
- You lead architecture governance processes and contribute to continious optimization.
- You define and prioritize system restoration plans to ensure business continuity.
What you bring
- You hold a master’s degree in a STEM field or bring equivalent hands-on experience.
- You have at least four years of experience in IT architecture, with strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture.
- You are proficient in documenting and communicating complex technical concepts (Visio, Confluence, BPMN, Jira)
- You are skilled in infrastructure, OS, databases, authentication system and development languages.
- You are confident and persuasive in defending security requirements in governance discussions.
- Relevant certifications are a big plus.
- You have working knowledge of architecture methodologies such as ISSAP, SABSA, TOGAF or CISSP.
- You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
