Your Mission
As a Solution Designer, you’ll focus on:
1. Infrastructure Design
- Designing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
- Selecting the best infrastructure services (AWS or data centers) to meet technical and business needs.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, security regulations, and best practices.
2. Collaboration with Teams
- Partnering with IT delivery teams to understand their requirements.
- Working with DevOps and security teams to implement robust infrastructure solutions.
- Supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
3. Cloud Migration & Modernization
- Leading migrations of applications to AWS using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Modernizing legacy systems to leverage cloud-native technologies.
4. Operations & Optimization
- Identifying improvements for AWS and on-premise infrastructures.
- Guiding operational teams and analyzing costs to improve efficiency.
- Monitoring systems to enhance performance and scalability.
Your profile
- Experience: 2+ years in a similar role designing AWS and on-prem solutions.
- Technical Skills: AWS certification (Solution Architect or DevOps Engineer), experience with GitLab pipelines and Terraform, and knowledge of virtualization tools (e.g., containers, backup, storage).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Fast learner, team player, strong communicator.
- Languages: Proficient in English (Dutch or French is a plus).
