You’ll play a vital role in mapping, improving, and managing key processes that drive our integrated commodity portfolio.
With a focus on operational excellence, you’ll identify risks, implement strong controls, and ensure seamless collaboration across departments.

What You’ll Do

- Business Process Management

• Lead end-to-end process mapping, applying LEAN practices to boost efficiency.
• Define roles and responsibilities for process and data ownership.
• Design BPMN models for new activities and workflows.
• Identify key risks and define controls to ensure quality and mitigate operational risks.
• Foster cross-department collaboration and create communication plans to enhance process knowledge.

- Operational Risk Management

• Develop and implement an operational risk management framework (ISO 31000).
• Conduct risk assessments, analyze processes, and design remediation plans.
• Implement controls (directive, preventive, detective, corrective) to mitigate risks.
• Maintain a risk register to provide senior management with insights on risks and mitigation actions.
• Lead incident management processes, including lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Business Continuity Management

• Develop and update Business Continuity Plans to ensure operations continue smoothly in case of disruptions.

- Collaboration Across Teams

• Work closely with Optimisation and other departments to align processes and mitigate risks.
• Share risk analyses and collaborate on strategies for operational risk management.
• Act as a bridge between operational teams (first line of defense) and risk/audit teams (second and third lines).

What You Bring

• A Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Engineering, Economics).
• 3–5 years of experience in business process modeling, operational risk management, or audit.
• Expertise in process mapping, BPMN, UML, and workflow diagrams.
• Proficiency in LEAN Six Sigma methodologies and ISO 31000 standards.
• Experience with tools like the Atlassian Suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong understanding of the energy sector and its operational dynamics.
• Change management skills (e.g., ADKAR framework).
• Fluent in English, with knowledge of Dutch or French as a plus.
