B2B Process Analyst

The business process analyst strives for operational excellence as well as a positive customer experience when a customer is in contact with Luminus.
As a business process analyst you are an important actor of the transformation of our Retail & B2B Business.
You will initiate the changes by translating the vision of the business project sponsors into value driven and structured solutions. You will realize the changes.

Some of your tasks will be as followed:


  • You support the business owner or project sponsor to translate his/her vision of an initiative into a clear and structured project charter. This will be the strong foundation of a successful project (with or without IT development). This means:
    •  With the sponsor or business owner you formulate the vision in objectives with measurable benefits
    • You highlight the main drivers of success by collecting:
      • The voice of the business sponsors and main stakeholders
      • The voice of the end user
      •  The voice of the customers
  • You analyze, adviceand provide action oriented recommendations. Your conclusions are strong and factual. They are funded on data, indicators, interviews, workshops, surveys, models and metrics. They are documented in precise and simple language.
  • You realize the changes in an agile way. You actively participate in projects collect the requirements, the benefits, define the acceptance criteria and respond to the changes (new requirements, new constraints, impediments..). You play a key role in a small multidisciplinary team focused on the changes (Scrum Team). You are the spoc for the scrum team in case of questions, concerns and validation of the solution. You define the testcases, coordinate testing and if needed support on the test execution.
  • You connect the project and the business. You inform clearly the sponsors about the value delivered and how it progresses in time. You explain the project risks and opportunities and your recommendation. You can use storytelling to share with the end users what the changes mean for them. You encourage feedback and you are not afraid to challenge others.
  • You are business expert and the voice of the business in IT projects: You facilitate the communication between the business and IT by organizing workshops and reviews. You are strongly involved in all phases of the development. At every step, from requirement to testing and delivery, you ensure the business objectives are realized: you provide impact analysis, requirements; you validate the tests and support the testers.
  • You develop yourself, your methods and your tools: you follow the trend in process improvements and operational excellence. You learn and you try; you try and you learn. You apply and you share.
  • You are a proactive challenger : you follow the indicators, you see waste in the process, you anticipate changes and search for process improvement opportunities. You think “improvement”.
  • You document the detailed process and create the training and knowledge material for the end users. You ensure the knowledge sharing within the different business units.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • University education or equivalent
  • Process Management experience - BPM - Process design tools
  • Lean / DMAIC / Six Sigma / Agile /
  • SAP, Salesforce, MS Office, Jira,…
